The overseas epidemic is still spreading rapidly. Against this background, many overseas countries such as Italy, Malaysia, Australia, the Philippines, and Singapore have begun to announce "closure of countries" and "closures" to block the spread of the epidemic. These policies have also directly led to interruption of production and logistics and transportation in many factories, and the global industrial chain has encountered huge challenges.
Just now, after a meeting with the state governments, the Indian central government also decided to blockade 75 administrative regions, including the capital New Delhi City, which were severely affected by the epidemic. All passenger trains, subways and transstate transportation are prohibited from operating, construction activities in the city are suspended, religious places are closed, and all commercial facilities and factories in the city are closed until March 31 local time.
At the same time, the State Administration of Shipping (DGS) of India has begun to implement 14-day quarantine on ships departing from China and all ports in countries with severe epidemics in response to epidemic prevention and control. The 14-day quarantine time starts from the departure of the previous port.
Therefore, foreign trade and freight forwarders who have shipped to India in the near future should pay attention and inform each other, beware of the extended transportation time of goods, and no one picks up the goods after arriving in India and the poor transportation will be smooth!
